Milling

Installation of Milling Lines is important to ensure there is minimal human intervention by use of a touch screen PLC Controller. The temperature deltas are critically controlled to prevent overheating which ensures retention of flavour and negligible loss of SHUs, ASTA Colour and Volatile oil of spice blends. At Swani Spice Mills Pvt Ltd, we have installed 3 Milling Lines, each with a capacity higher than the former, to cater to the specific needs of each product/spice.

Process

All our manufacturing facilities adhere to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards and are HACCP/ISO Compliant.

All processes – procurement and sorting of raw materials, cleaning/drying, grinding, blending and packaging – are certified by relevant national and international agencies. We have the perfect blend of technology and manual processes.

Certain sorting and cutting processes are carried out by hand in order to retain desired integrity of the product. Before dispatch, random samples from every batch go to the laboratory after they are packaged. This is from every stock keeping unit. They are tested thoroughly for contamination, quality, standardisation of natural colour, aroma, moisture content, etc.
